One of the "prescriptions" for exercise that I agree with and believe is doable even for the busy person is:
1) Brisk walking, biking, stair climbing at least 30 minutes 3 - 5x/week
2) Performing resistance training for the core and upper body 3 - 5x/week
The combination will allow for increases in metabolism, cardiac training and strength training for the entire body.
Good News!! We have the necessary equipment to fill this prescription. Our Kinesis classes provide resistance training for the entire body in a 25-30 minute workout and our cardio equipment allows for walking, biking or stair climbing.
